Somehow in need of a Renaissance keeping the artistic styles and magic, with a new perspective, local realism, in enhancing a renovating touch in the inside villa, keeping the harmonious architecture and fiery view. A great place to start your Bali experience ! a black hole to let go of your day to day city western life. I have one note that makes me go back a few seconds to the reality world : (room included full breakfast) the choice in the breakfast menu, I have to choose between to try an attractive desert part of the menu or a basket with croissant and bread to accompany my strong caffe latte, I was told the basket was 20,000 roupies extra (AU$2.00) ! Bucu is a place where nature is all in effect, money shall not intrusive your moment ... Having included AU$2.00 to my invoice without my knowledge would have been a smart acceptance ... Do not ask extra when you order on the menu, just charge the room direct, I mean it is all in Bucu honnour !

This place is amazing - the typical views and environment that you seek when you go to Ubud the jungle feeling all that - magnificent pool with a swim up bar - really really recommend the massages as well The place itself feels super remote but it was only a 5 min walk and then you are already at many shops and restaurants Monkey forest is 15 min walk as well as the center of Ubud and all the main shops and restaurants Really recommend going for dinner at Waroeng Bernadette - the prices are same or just a little more expensive as a ‘normal’ warung but the food is teuly de-li-cious! We had way too much as we couldn’t choose and still didn’t get a bill of more than 45€ for 2 people You can easily have dinner with 2 for only like 25€ Good breakfast and plenty of choice as well - you order it the day before from the menu and you can even order an extra bread basket which comes with some danish and homemade jam

We stayed here for a 4 night relaxing stopover on the way to NZ, and it was the perfect place! Fabulous location in the forest, so peaceful yet only a 10 minute walk into the town, and we were able to explore the area on foot, including the monkey forest. The pool is beautiful and an absolute joy to lounge in with the views and sounds of the forest. Lovely covered restaurant area overlooking the pool and forest, a great start to the day having breakfast here. We also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea here. The room was a good size, beautifully furnished and with a good sized balcony with seating, overlooking the extensive garden. The staff were very attentive. Go up onto the rooftop terrace for lovely sunset views. We enjoyed the BBQ and traditional dancing, and also had massages which were a good price. Would certainly stay here again.

They have 24/7 reception as we arrived late and checked out early, which we were grateful for that. The room was spacious and clean, water was provided daily for you. For breakfast, you can choose from a set menu and order a day before, they cater any types of breakfasts, including traditional. We also went to a barbecue on the patio where they provided a buffet style balinese meal with traditional dances to view, at an extra cost. I also went to a balinese massage and I cannot recommend it more - full body pampering. It was under 300k idr Also, the staff was very kind to us, always cheerful and smiling.

Feroiu-barzescu

The nature surroundings, pool, garden, staff and restaurant setting. All was close to most touristic locations, but at the same time tucked away. I think we got some booking offer and it was great value. Breakfast was wide selection and abundant portion. Room was big and we liked the design. For sure had this damp earth smell which comes when it rains a lot and is hot. It was lovely to eat breakfast with that view and drink coctails at the amazing pool.
